The Swiss Alps are often characterised as the most spectacular part of the Alps.  Almost needless to say that the Alps are what Switzerland is famous for.   A biker’s paradise both fast sweeping and tight hairpin bends, with stunning scenery as a backdrop.

The Black Forest B500 –

This famous panoramic road running from Baden-Baden to Freudenstadt (the B500) is a must for every visitor to the Black Forest, especially bikers.

Day 1 – Approx. 259 miles

We will be meeting at the Euro Tunnel Terminal for our 7.50 am departure. From there we have a long ride down to our hotel with an indoor pool in Luxemburg.

Day 2–Approx. .256 miles

We will proceed from our overnight stop through the Wildlife Park National Reserve North Vosges Mountain region heading for Lake Sempach for our hotel for the night.

Day 3 – Approx. 134 miles

Today we will be heading from our hotel towards Lake Lucerne and onto our first mountain pass (the Klausen Pass) where we will be stopping for photo opportunities and lunch.   We will then be travelling on towards Lake Walensee and on to our hotel for the next 4 nights in Flims.

Day 4 – 6

There will be two ride outs and a rest day planned between these days depending on weather.
Ride out 1 – Obersaxen,Oberalp, Susten, Grimsel & Furka Passes
Ride out 2 – St Bernardino & Lukmanier Passes

Day 7 – Approx. 180 miles

Today we will be making our way back up towards Germany and The Black Forest (B500), via Liechtenstein following Lake Constance where we will be stopping for lunch on Reichenau Island.  From here we will be heading towards our overnight stop just off the B500.

Day 8 – Approx. 222 miles

Today we will be riding the famous B500 towards Baden Baden.  We then head across country by-passing Metz and stopping in the Luxemburg area overnight.

Day 9 – Approx. 125 mile

Today we will be making our way to Mons for our overnight stay , via the very picturesque village of Dinant.

Day 10 – Approx. 116 miles

From our final overnight stop, we make our way back to the Euro Tunnel for our 15.50 pm departure back to Folkstone.
