Itinerary

The New Forest is a diverse part of the UK and our 4 day/ 3-night Spring tour will demonstrate why, as we take in the beauty of the forest’s idyllic glades, ancient woodland, open moors, heathland and coastline all interconnected by some of our favourite motorcycling roads.

We will be based in one hotel on the edge of the New Forest near the village of Lyndhurst.  There is an indoor swimming pool on site which you are free to make use of for the duration of the tour and all breakfasts and evening meals are included.

Day 1 – Approx. 105 miles

Having started on the tour from our meeting point in Swindon on the Friday morning at 09:00hrs, we ride across the Salisbury Plain stopping at the famous World Heritage site of Stonehenge.  We then ride on to the historic City of Salisbury to visit the Cathedral ((home of the Magna Carta).  Then on to Lunch at the Lamb Inn at Nomansland.

After lunch we continue into the New Forest National Park where we will be visiting some of the lovely villages before concluding Day 1 of the tour at the hotel.

Day 2– Approx. 111 miles

We will take in a ride to Sammy Millers Motorbike Museum, one of the World’s largest motorbike museums.  Then onto Hurst Castle which is a 1500 century artillery fort established by Henry VIII.  After lunch we will continue our ride over the South Downs onto Loomies Motorbike Café for a coffee break before heading onto our final stop of the day at Fort Nelson a royal armouries museum.

Day 3– Approx. 98 miles

The day will commence with a ride to Lymington where we will be sailing over to the Isle of Wight (and you won’t even need a passport).  The day will be spent travelling around the coastal roads of the Island.  We will be stopping at various tourist attractions around the Island.

Day 4 – Approx. 62 miles

The tour concludes on the Monday when we will be making our way back to the drop off point at Swindon, taking in the Army Flying Museum which is a British military aviation museum about the history of flying in the British Army.  We then continue to Thruxton Motor Racing Circuit which is referred to as the “Fastest Circuit in the UK”.  From here we will ride over the North West Downs to Marlborough for lunch prior to departure at Swindon.
